Legacy Turkey has a full-time, benefits-eligible career opportunity for a Day Shift HR Supervisor. This role leads daily HR operations and supports employees and supervisors through employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, leave administration, and consistent application of company policies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as the primary HR contact for leave administration across all plant departments and shifts, including FMLA, Minnesota Paid Leave, medical leave, and other applicable leave programs.

  • Reviews leave eligibility and documentation, provides required notices, tracks deadlines and leave usage, and coordinates return-to-work activities.

  • Maintains accurate, confidential leave records and communicates status updates to employees, supervisors, payroll, and benefit providers.

  • Supports positive employee relations through fair and consistent application of company policies and timely resolution of workplace concerns.

  • Guides supervisors on employee coaching, documentation, corrective action, and policy application.

  • Assists with onboarding, orientation, employee communications, payroll, and timekeeping.

  • Identifies opportunities to improve HR processes and escalates complex leave and accommodation matters to the HR Manager.

Qualifications (Required):

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or an HR Generalist role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant employee-relations experience.

  • Working knowledge of leave administration, employee relations, and applicable federal and state employment requirements.

  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, apply policies consistently, and manage multiple priorities.

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with schedule flexibility and weekend coverage as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR leadership or employee-relations experience in a manufacturing, processing, or operations environment.

  • Experience administering FMLA, Minnesota Paid Leave, and other employee leave programs.

  • Experience supporting payroll, timekeeping, workers’ compensation, and disability programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to guide supervisors, improve processes, and support a respectful, engaged workforce.

Salary Range: $62,500 - $93,000
