What you will do:
- Work as part of the Live Haul crew to safely and efficiently load turkeys according to established procedures.
- Follow all Live Haul safety, animal welfare and sanitation requirements.
- Properly wear required respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment.
- Follow the personal hygiene policy, which requires employees in this position to be clean-shaven to ensure respiratory equipment fits properly.
- Perform other position-specific duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Work shifts that may vary based on production and transportation schedules.
- Work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
- Perform repetitive movements, including lifting, bending, reaching, pulling and twisting.
- Frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Wear respiratory protection and other required personal protective equipment.
- Work closely with other crew members in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to safely wear respiratory protection equipment.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
